Photo Story Friday: 366, Week 4

Day 20: Sunset after snow. I pulled the van over on the side of the road and surprised the children by running out into the middle of our road to take this photo.

Day 21: Sarah in the snow. My heart dog just loves the snow and was very happy to finally have a bit to play in. I also appreciate that she is easier to photograph when she is on a white background.

Day 22: Sydney being Sydney. Our other dog, a BC/Aussie mix, is as lazy (and sweet) as can be. I caught this sweet photo of her snoozing on the floor while the kids played literally 2 feet from her head.

Day 23: Mother's Night Out. I belong to a playgroup of really great women, and we had a night out without the kiddos this last Monday. We went to Caribou Coffee. Mmmm.

Day 24: Winter workday morning. This is a typical morning for me. There is a peek of sun rising over the horizon, my van is coated in salt and grit, and I try to find inspiration for the day.

Day 25: Ready for ballet. Delia was so happy that I put her hair in an up-do for ballet class this week. I was able to capture a genuine smile. Almost.

Day 26: Alaina in the sled. Believe it or not, January 26 is the first time this winter that we have had Alaina in the sled. We finally have a wee bit of snow, and it certainly was nice that it was in the upper 30s. She was a bit unsure of what to think about the whole thing...especially when Delia started pulling her around the yard.

What lovely photos! I have wandered here rather by accident but have really enjoyed my visit!

We have a dog who loves snow also -- Lady, our Brittany Spaniel mix. She spends forever just rolling in the snow, it gives her such joy!
