Farewell, 2011.

2011 has been a wonderful year for our family, but now it is time to say farewell.

2012 will be amazing. I just know this to be true.

Alaina will go from crawling, climbing, and cruising



to being a walker.

And a talker.


Delia will go from being a lively preschooler



to being a new student at the local elementary school as she starts her kindergarten year.


My career is also taking a shift this year due to reorganization at the medical device company where I am employed, and I will continue to do my best to figure out how to balance my life between work and family. Anyone who really knows me also realizes that I will do my utmost to succeed in my new role at work.


Stu and I will also be celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary in 2012, so that in itself will make the year special. We plan to take a trip somewhere for just the two of us.


For me, one thing that was lacking in 2011 was photography, so in 2012, I am taking the 365 challenge to take at least one photograph (and share on the blog) every day of the year. I will be sharing the photos weekly, and hopefully I will put up additional blog posts in between.


I look forward to spending 2012 in the company of my family and friends. Take care, and I will be posting here again soon.
