But I feel like my house is.
Our home computer (hard drive) stopped working this summer.
The dishwasher stopped working 4 months ago.
The water softener is shot.
The water heater may be on its last leg.
Our kitchen counter top is chipped and looks terrible.
The pipes under our kitchen sink leak occasionally.
One of the toilets is constantly running.
The paint is peeling on the eaves of our house.
We have holes in our house where a woodpecker attacks it every fall.
Let's not even discuss the state of our gardens, that the dogs need to go to the groomer, how horrible the driveway looks, the state of all the closets in our house, or the fact that my carpets desperately need to be cleaned.
Notice a trend here?
Most day I am happy that work is going well, we are both employed, we are all healthy, we can pay our bills, and the girls are great.
Some days the list of "stuff" gets to me. The money factor is a big one with two kiddos in daycare. Regardless of the cost, however, these days I choose to spend time with my family over doing projects around the house, so it is what it is.
So yeah. If anyone can send over a dog groomer, handyman, housekeeper, and personal chef to my home free of charge to help us out, that would be great. Thanks.
